Our technology lets you to create real 3D soundscapes for any kind of speakers setup, but in order to be able to release a demo we had to decide to use one in particular. The one we use for 3D-EST discs and DTS HD MA home theaters seems to be the most used worldwide...

 

 

The 3D-EST demo files are simple wav files. You can playback the 8 channels using any sequencer audio, but please be sure that your speaker setup is composed by 8 speakers of the same model and that those speakers are located on two levels of height, in the correct positions and following the correct enumeration: 1=L, 2=R, 3=Rs, 4=Ls, 5=LH, 6=RH, 7=RHs, 8=LHs. Although the numbers differ, the positions correspond exactly with the arrangement recommended by AES for the surround channels excluding the "Central" and "LFE". The four higher speakers must be approximatively at 2 meters and ten centimeters of height from the floor, on the perpendicular that intersects the center of gravity of the lower speakers.
